Macy's Flower Show

Each March Macy’s famed annual Flower Show takes root in its historic state street store in Chicago. The store is filled with the brilliant colors, textures, and sweet smells of Spring. Themed “Towers of Flowers,” in 2011, the spring Flower Show reached new heights with its largest and most impressive display to date – a three-story floral replica of the John Hancock Tower.

The John Hancock Tower replica was fabricated of a sheer mesh fabric printed in a bold floral pattern. As shoppers walked through the floral tower and looked up they saw Pink powered by Moss iconic fabric flowers floating inside the tower awash in LED colored lights. The tower also supported flower boxes planted with cascading flowers of every color and texture.

MTV VMA Awards

This year's MTV Video Music Awards' stage was a massive, towering design inspired by sleek mid-century modern architecture that stretched 70 feet out into the theatre seats, bringing the audience practically onstage. The soaring set, by German designer Florian Wieder, required over 2600 seats to be removed from the Nokia Theatre.

The soaring Moss canopies, created using a stark white fabric, became the canvas for state-of-the-art LED lights blasting during the show, changing for each performance and presenter. At other times, the sweeping fabric "petals" stood out in stark contrast to the video pulsating on giant screens enveloping the theatre.

Big Apple Circus

With Fashion Week's recent move to Lincoln Center, the Big Apple Circus needed to update the shared space and their tents' style for their four month run. To create intimate interior spaces, in the 10,000 square foot open tent, the Circus used over 500 ft of EZ Fabric Walls to create separate reconfigurable lounge spaces, a large concessions area, as well as space for ticket booths.

To make this large open tent space more intimate, over 500 ft of EZ Fabric walls were installed on site to create separate reconfigurable lounge spaces, a large concessions area, as well as space for ticket booths and will call. Moss also rigged 50 Moons of varying sizes overhead to lead you through the space and into the Big Top. Two 90 ft custom projection screens were also installed in the central rotunda space to create a welcoming entry to the circus!

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) awarded Pink Powered by Moss an International Achievement Award for an outstanding specialty fabric project. Pink Powered by Moss won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the Fabric Art category for Fish fabricated for the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.
