The U.S.A.’s latest high-speed production lines for disposable face masks are up and running at Moss!
The first two of our four scheduled high-speed automation lines are now fulfilling and shipping orders for 3-ply general use masks.
In about 70 days, Moss has gone from discussing the idea of industrial face mask production to realizing new high-speed, commercial mask production that serves public health needs. By August 2020 Moss will be able to produce millions of masks weekly.
Moss 3-ply face masks are made of non-woven polypropylene material and feature a moldable metal nose bridge and elasticized ear loops. Our masks protect both the wearer and those surrounding them during interaction and proximity.
Moss is also working to produce medical-grade face masks meeting ASTM F2100 Level 2 barrier protection in the coming weeks. Additionally, Moss is prototyping other mask styles and protective gear to serve various PPE needs.
