THE CHALLENGE:
Our office in Changzhou partnered with Hefei Panshi Technology Ltd. to create tension fabric structures for a temporary exhibit installation in the China Science and Technology Museum at Quinghua University. Spanning across an area of 1800 square meters, the exhibition titled “The Craft of Chinese Hand-made Paper Manufacturing” showcased the technology, innovation, and achievements of hand-made paper production throughout China’s history. The exhibit included large format prints and temporary aluminum structures to narrate its remarkable journey.
The tension fabric structures defined the exhibition zones using sweeping curves of the Moss Classic TM System that mimicked the elegant contours of a rolled paper. Enhancing the museum’s exhibit design and storytelling aspect, the strategically placed Moss Groove TM freestanding walls showcased integrated product displays and high-impact graphics, engaging visitors into an immersive and unforgettable experience.
