Macy’s Herald Square

Moss provided scores of fabric lightboxes for the renovation of Macy’s Herald Square, the iconic Macy’s flagship – and largest store in the western hemisphere. This includes more than 70 lightboxes alone for the One Below level and the Arcade Shops area. One Below, the 53,000 sq. ft. basement-level immersive environment, has been highlighted as the next great millennial shopping experience and won the 2016 Gold Award for Department Within a Store in the prestigious A.R.E. Design Awards.

Moss also fabricated specialty walls, including the cut-out internally lit “Star” walls as well as integrated ARC lightboxes that are retrofit into window-type wall units. Moss produced 28 of these retrofit ARC lightboxes. We also fabricated several custom Construct™ System lightbox arch structures that brightly showcase departmental areas.

Moss lightboxes and fabric graphics are found throughout the flagship’s 11 levels and the more than 2 Million sq. ft. of retail space, including the Men’s, Children’s, and Fragrance departments. The lightboxes highlight a wide range of popular premium brands such as MAC Cosmetics and Michael Kors.
